Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 18, 2026

This page describes how the Awakening Bell Chrome extension handles data. The short version: it doesn’t.

What we collect

Nothing. The Awakening Bell extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, telemetry, analytics, crash reports, or any other information about you or your device.

What we send to remote servers

Nothing. The extension performs zero network requests. There is no backend, no analytics service, no error-reporting endpoint, and no telemetry of any kind. You can verify this by opening Chrome’s DevTools network tab while the popup is open — you will see no outbound traffic.

What we store locally

The extension saves your bell preferences on your own computer using Chrome’s chrome.storage.local API. This includes:

This data is stored only on your device. It is not synced to a Google account, not sent to any server, and not accessible to any other website or extension. You can clear it at any time by removing the extension or by clearing extension storage in Chrome’s settings.

Permissions the extension uses

The extension does not request and does not have permission to read or modify any web page, see your browsing history, access your tabs, or use the network.

Children

The extension is appropriate for all ages. No data is collected from any user, including users under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this URL and a note will be made in this section.
